  • whats up. Are the white/ military and the grey showes extraordinary? One indicates vionic, and one shows orthaheel? Are they the equal shoes?
  • whats up! Sorry–can not assist you together with your query regarding colors. I bought the sand-coloured pair for my husband with matching bottom element… Did not need white ones for the lowest part because they get grimy. This pair is vionic with the orthaheel generation. It took my husband 2-three days of sporting them for the spoil-in period. Now he loves them! See less

These shoes have been great for over 1 year! I bought them half a size larger than I usually would because of what other reviewers said. That worked out just right. I had been having a lot of problems with foot pain from plantar fasciitis. After I started wearing these shoes, the pain disappeared within a month or two. The support and comfort have been great. Now, I am back to order another pair because my last pair has lost it cushiony feel. These types of foam filled shoes eventually break down from daily use. So, okay. I can live with that. I’m surprised the reviews for this shoe run as low as they do. But I see the complaints are all related to size. So just get a bigger pair. Read more

Man when I bought these I had a pair of superfeet inserts in every pair of shoes I have. My Plantar fascitis was really bad. These shoes were great and my issues were all but gone after about a month. I only wear these to and from work and on weekend as I wear steel toe boots at work and still these shoes only lasted about 6 months before stitching started coming apart. Too bad if they were about half the price I would b uy again but now I am going to look for an alternative. $100 for 6 month shoes just not worth it too me. If my Plantar returns I may have to change my mind but I hope someone out there makes a quality shoe. I am obviously willing to pay for pain free but want quality as well. Also these shoes run about a 1/2 size small. Come on Vionic improve the QC a little please!!! Read more

I’ve tried to find the a sneaker with a lot of support and good arch, these have both. I was starting to get planter fasciitis again and these were the third pair that I have tried. Considering all the walking I do these are a good quality sneaker that does not look like the typical old fart sneaker but more like the traditional tennis shoe. I’m able to walk in comfort again and wake up the next morning without agonizing foot pain. Read more

Well, they’re shoes alright. Other than that, they have serious problems. There’s no excuse in this day and age for a shoe to be this misrepresented as far as size goes. If you order a 12, you’ll get what amounts to an 11. The insoles are VERY firm, which is what most podiatrists seem to recommend, but this amounts to extreme pain if you’re like me and spend all day on your feet. I wore these for four days in the hope that my feet would adjust to “correct” support, but I can tell at this point things won’t get better. They squeek when I walk, they’re overpriced, and they hurt. I was hoping for some relief from my heal pain, but there’s no chance of getting it with these shoes. I’d recommend sticking to the $50 New Balance cross-trainers, which seem to be better in every way. On a side note: I have several members of my family who have had custom-made orthotics and in every case their feet got worse. It seems that products that mimic the custom orthotics, like these Orthaheels, have similar flaws. It like the podiatrists are saying, “Forget that cushion nonsense. Here’s a brick for you to walk on. Give it a few months, and your feet will feel better.” That’s garbage. Ok, done with my little rant. Stay away from these. Thanks. Read more

I usually wear a size 10 or 10.5. After reading reviews on here, I ordered an 11, and it’s a little bit big but probably the best size, as I suspect a 10.5 in this shoe may be a bit tight for me. I bought these shoes mainly to take pressure off my injured left heel. They do a great job of that, as their shape shifts the weight forward on the feet without creating awkwardness. Very well designed in that respect. Only thing I don’t like about them is they have a prominent arch support, which digs into my arches (I have normal arches I think). People who need arch support may like it. Me, I used some tools to hammer that part of the shoe a bit flatter so it’s more comfortable. Great shoes though, I’m happy with them so far (been about a week). Read more

They do run small buy the next size up. Both my husband and I have been very happy with Ortaheel scandals. They have helped me with relief of knee and back pain aggravated by arthritis. My husband has had difficulty walking due to nerve damage in his feet from chemo therapy. Again the scandals were so amazing he wanted to wear nothing else but it is a cold sloppy winter here in MD. I had already tried the Orthaheel walkers and had high hopes for them for him. I ordered a size larger than he normally gets and warned him that they would feel a bit stiff at first. He is up to two hours of walking in them while shopping with good results. I believe the total realignment of the knee and hip joints takes a couple of weeks to get used to but is definitely an improvement. I wear mine daily for walking exercise now without knee or back pain. I will post again in a month when he has had more time to break the shoes in and adjust to them. Read more
