I rarely write reviews for any of the products I purchase on this site, but I had to give one for these socks. I was a commercial plumber for 22 + years, and I’m currently working in a water treatment facility. I’ve been on my feet in steel toe work boots for the last 27 years, and without a doubt these are, by far, the best work socks I have ever worn. First of of all, I have very large calves and I’m constantly having to pull my socks up through a work shift, but I haven’t had to pull these up once. They stay up, period. I’ve even worn them on a 16 hour shift, and no issues staying up. They fit great, are super comfortable, with the arch and Achilles support built in, they feel great on my feet. I fully recommend these for anyone who spends lots of time on their feet at work. You won’t be disappointed with these socks. I’m even going to buy extras to keep for future use, and I’ve never done that with any other sock before. Read more

I bought my son a pair of boots for work and I thought it’d be nice to get him 3 new pairs of socks. He has 15 pairs of heavy duty socks I bought @jcp over 19 months ago. They still in great shape, no holes. I saw the brand Dickies and I assumed their socks were gonna be better quality and would last longer than the ones I bought last year. Dickies advertised their socks as “industrial heavyweight reinforced with heavier count yarn for superior durability” To start, they fit super tight specially around the middle of your foot and around your calf making it hard to slide in and out. Dickies says the socks will provide comfort against high boot. It also says that the socks are reinforced from heel to toe for durability! After 4 weeks of him wearing them 5 days a week for 8 hrs ea. day, the fabric started to fade out and come undone. Some of them even show a hole!! What happened to reinforced heel & toe and superior heavier cotton yarn for durability!!??? I guess it’s just false advertising and the brand name means nothing anymore!!!!! 😡 I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE SOCKS AT ALL, SEE PICTS AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!! You’re better off buying 6 to 12 pairs at your local outlet than buying these trash!!! 😡😡 not happy at all with my purchase 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 The FIRST pic is of the old socks he has been wearing for the last 19 months, no holes no fading. ❤️ bought them at Walmart. Have only been wearing these socks for about 4 or 5 weeks. Not continuously, but one pair per day, followed by a wash, then worn again the next day. This sequence is repeated. The socks are softer than I am accustomed to, particularly around the ankle area, where the fabric pattern makes the area even softer, albeit only by a little. I only have two gripes with these socks, each of which have caused me to take one star from the rating of the product: (1) The section of the sock that extends up my lower leg is uncomfortably tight. And my lower leg is not muscular or large by any means. The sock just squeezes that area for me, and it doesn’t get looser after washing. Any one with larger legs than mine might have circulation issues due to this sock. That’s how tight I think it feels. (2) The outside of the sock began showing some fraying after week 3. This is evidenced by the little rolled up balls of fabric all over the sock, not just on the area that goes into the show, but also the area that goes under my pants. However, no holes have developed in the socks. At least, not yet. Honestly, I want to say this was a disappointing buy, but at $11 for 3 pairs, I think it’s good value for money. However, it’s not something I would recommend. Read more

the socks feel very fine – 5 stars – but there’s 1 problem: because the Chinese (who presumably ,Ade the socks) don’t bother to think to wish to irritate us the foot opening is so small that getting in or out of the sock is a big struggle, especially for an old man (I’m 92) without help.In fairness, I really don’t know whether the stuff was made in China. It’s not the only place with small feet. Everything else is really good. Read more

I’ve worn plenty of Dickies products so I decided to try their socks. My feet and lower legs hurt after a 10+ day in the garage on a cement floor. I read the reviews and purchased 2 packs (6 pair). These are very comfortable and great quality! You can instantly feel the compression work and they fit so well that my feet feel amazing after a long day. There is no “wicking” yet I feel like their is. I don’t sweat as much in these as my other socks, even on those 90 degree days. These socks are the best I’ve worn while working those long and hard days. They are fantastic value. They are durable and seem like they’ll last for a couple years and still be comfortable. I’d suggest these to those who work on their feet for long days. Read more

These are thicker than regular box store socks for everyday use and thinner than work socks. Was a really nice happy medium. Fit exceptionally well. I am a big guy 6’3 350. With thick calfs 14 4E shoe and these fit perfect. They came about mid calf and not tight. They really were perfect. Once I put them on my only thought was yes, this is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I will be purchasing many more simply because you know same as me, for whatever reason when you find exactly what you want the quality changes by the next time you need it. Read more
