The socks I received are 96% polyester, run small, are not even half as thick as they were just a few years ago, and with just a tiny bit of grey across the tips of the toes and the back of the heal, bear only a passing resemblance to the socks shown in the listing. Oh, and did I mention that several of the socks in this package already had runs in the fabric? But on a high note, they did come in a genuine Fruit of the Loom package. If what I’ve described sounds appealing, then these just might be the socks for you. As for myself, I promptly initiated a return and sent them back within a few hours of receiving them. Read more

I bought a package of these socks a few months back – wanting only reasonably priced (read: cheap) socks for yard work, working in the garage, etc. These were decent and I liked them. I liked the gray color across the entire bottom and that, for crew sized, they were not that tall. I ordered them again because of the above and the show up taller (more crew-y?), are only gray on the toes and heel, and somewhat tight, compared to the ones I bought previously. Checking back in the item description it says “fabric content may vary”. I guess they meant that since they seem like completely different socks than I bought before. I don’t like the second installment as much as the first. Read more

I have purchased this same item three times. In my most recent purchase (September 2017), the socks no longer look or feel like the first two batches. What showed up in September was a sock with the grey color just on the heal and toe, not across the whole bottom of the sock. The socks pictured with the grey across the entire bottom are great. These recent socks, marked “New!” on the wrapper, are much lower quality. I don’t think they are quite as bad as Hanes socks, but they’re headed that way.. Read more

They must’ve grabbed the cheapest possible socks and put them in a Fruit of the Loom package. They are definitely NOT the quality of Fruit of the Loom. They don’t even have identifying marks on them saying they’re that brand and all the Fruit of the Loom socks I’ve seen had their logo or something on them identifying them as Fruit of the Loom. These were a complete rip off! Read more

OK socks and price for today’s quality standard, which is not good for cheap sport socks. The problem with all of today’s sport socks at any price is that a reinforced area should extend 3 inches from the heel toward the toe on the bottom, as all of this type of sock wears out in front of the heel in the exact same area. That would, of course, mean fewer sock sales due to longer wear, and which is more important to sock makers today, longer wear or more profits? As they are so cheap, don’t expect them to last long, about a month, or 5-7 wearings. 6 pair of these cost about the same as one pair of my dress socks, so I consider them throwaway socks. And I repurpose worn socks as polishing rags. Read more

Ordered six pairs of socks X2. Returned both as there was a damaged sock in each pack. One was frayed at the top of the sock and other one stitching was coming loose on big toe. Couldn’t even combine them to prelude returning one package as the bottom of the socks were different design on each set of 6. I don’t think I’ve ever had to return socks before in my whole life. First off, I would have to say that these socks were designed for Hobbits. The ankle part is small with very little stretch for comfort and the foot part is HUGE. Also, they call themselves “padded” but other than a different color weave, the bottom is as thin and scratchy as the upper part of the foot area. I was expecting much softer, much more comfortable socks from Fruit of the Loom, and am disappointed. Read more

These seem like the same socks that I had bought in previous years except that the elastic is so tight on the top that it leaves lines in my lower calf. I’m a woman and not overweight so pity the burly guy that tries to wear these all day. Read more
