I bought these shoes cause my ass is getting older and things are breaking down, like my foot and knees, so, I scoured Amazon for the cheapest highest rated shoes I could find cause the Asian in me would not allow me to buy $100+ shoes from Footlocker and I found these. I figured, these aren’t coolest looking shoes, but, at my age style doesn’t hold the same mystique it did before, so I bought this old man walking shoes for practicality purposes and I’m glad I did. A few things about these shoes: Pros 1. They don’t look like old man shoes, they have a nice grey contrast and even tho they have those large old man soles, it doesn’t look so bad cause it looks stylish against the rest of the shoe. 2. These shoes are light, when I got the box I was a bit thrown back how light it was to the point I thought I was tricked, but, no, they are that light. 3, The size fits true to the foot, I wear 10.5 and these fit exactly. 4. The 2E width is perfect for my pudgy squat foot. Cons: 1. No or little arch support, so if you need arch this probably ain’t the shoe for you. 2. The quality/durability is suspect. The shoe is light and it’s very cushy/comfortable but it feels like this shoe will conk out < year Other than that I like the show and for you old farts like me who need cheap comfy shoes for wide squat thick feet, this shoe is for you. I’ve been wearing new balance shoes for decades now. Have been buying them now solely from Amazon for a few years. Never have a problem. Referring to the Black variety specifically, the materials or the build quality or something has gone horribly wrong. 45days into wearing these they are coming apart as seen in the photos. Amazing.. Pathetic… Judging by the ratings, this is seemingly NOT an issue across the entire line – BUT, AVOID THE BLACK ONES!! The MW411v2, at least the Black variety, clearly needs a v3……… Edit 2/25/2019: Updated the images; bad seams have gotten much worse and an eyelet ripped through. 2mo old. Sending them back if they’ll let me.. Garbage kicks.. Edit 2/25/2019: Can’t return it!!! Got screwed!!! Stay away!!! Read more

I needed to buy black shoes to use for work and it needed to be one that feels comfortable for walking and standing all day. I was starting to get major heel pain with my previous shoes and after reading the reviews on this one, I pull the trigger on it. The shoes are surprisingly comfortable when walking. The insole in thick and the cushion has nice recovery on it so every step feels very comfortable. For standing all day though… it’s not that great. While the insole cushion has nice recovery, when walking, it bottoms out too easily. Stand in one position too long and it starts to feel like any other shoes with mediocre insoles. Arch support is okay, but not great either. All in all, I would say that these shoes are great for walking as the name states, but if you’re doing more standing than walking, I would suggest a different shoe. Read more

These are the most uncomfortable shoes. I had an identical pair that were very comfortable, but had worn out. I was happy to find them on Amazon and ordered these as replacements. Upon opening the box I first noticed a lot of glue drips that I had to clean off. Next, I tried them on and and found them to be much too narrow even though the box and the shoes said 2E. I wore them for an hour, hoping they would loosen up, but only developed hot spots at the widest part of my feet. I always used to buy New Balance because they were Made In America. These are made in Indonesia. Total Junk. Their quality control is the pits. Follow up: I have worn these for about 8 months now, and now the stiching is coming apart. Avoid them. Read more

I work in the ER and am on my feet at least 9+ of the 12 hours I work. Sometimes the entire time. I was skeptical buying these, being they’re about half the price of most NB shoes. These things are AMAZING! So freaking comfortable. I’m also overweight and have big feet (13 2E) and these feel like clouds. I even wear them on my days off, since my NB and Reebok Classics feel like wood planks compared to these. The only thing I don’t like about them is the laces. This has been mentioned before. The laces that come with it are ridiculously long. Even tied and double knotted I still have giant 10 inch loops. I have to tuck them into my bottom laces so I don’t trip over them. So I would recommend buying a set of normal length laces. Other than that, I’m buying another pair as we speak! Read more

Husband just started wearing these athletic shoes &; what he thought was new design is mfg flaw – soles on shoes 1/2” – 3/4” longer than shoe itself & after 3 wearings sole is pulling off shoe – total waste of money as unwearable & he’s very easy on shoes Read more

I have terrible plantar fasciitis in my right foot and have to work on my feet all day. These shoes have helped tremendously. The cushioning is great and they fit very well. Read more

Lasted about 9 weeks I’m a mechanic so it went through a lot of abuse. I’m 5”11 about 240ish. I work 5 days a week 8 hour days on my feet all day from walking on hard surfaces on oil, coolant, water, mud and dirt. Shoes wasn’t as comfortable as others have stated but everyone is different. I paid 3 times as much for some ASICS where were way more comfortable but they don’t have wider widths so I figured I would give these a shot. Didn’t work to well for me so back to the ASICS.
