This is what my daughter’s shoes looked like after having them about a month, and wearing them about 15 times total for about an hour each time.. Is this normal? The other people in the company assure me it is not. I’d really like a logical explanation or a refund. It seems like the seams popped and they fit her perfectly. Read more

I originally bought the xl size due to other reviews on the sizing. They were too wide and after dancing 1x the elastic had already stretched a little making them even bigger. I returned them and got a large and they fit exactly as I’d expect when reading sizing chart. My street size is in between an 8 1/2 and 9 adult size. Read more

My daughter wears a size 2 (kids) street shoe and has been wearing the Bloch Eclipse Leather lyrical shoes in size small. She’s been complaining that the shoes are now too small and forcing her toes to curl when she dances. I hesitated to move her into the medium based on the printed sizing, but we tried them anyway. The length was a perfect fit, but the shoes are far too wide for her narrow feet. These only come in medium width, which is usually fine for her dance shoes, but she was swimming in these. The Bloch Eclipse leather shoes are great quality. They last through a hard year of dancing without falling apart or wearing a hole in the toes. The sizing is just a bit awkward on these and because the straps aren’t adjustable they really need to be a near perfect fit for your foot. One of the things that I really like about these shoes is that they have a nice, soft lining. It’s too bad these aren’t a good fit. I really like the Bloch brand shoes. Read more

pull down menu for ordering by size is incorrect. The back of the packaging and the product description is correct though. didn’t try on because i ordered via sizing on pulldown menu in which a med fits 7-8.5 and i wear an 8. but this is not the case. med is size 5-7. etc… had to send back because I wear an 8- they seem like decent quality for the price. will know once a size large comes so i can use them- 1 star for just wrong ordering info Read more

First of all, the size chart is not accurate. I ordered size Large for my 12 year old daughter but they were too small, she wears size 6 shoe. I returned them for size X- Large and the size fit but they are NOT LEATHER. They are made of a canvas-like fabric. These are advertised as “Leather Contemporary Lyrical Ballet Shoes” and are not true to their description. Read more

I bought these for my teenage daughter who is a dancer. She said these fit well, stay on better than her previous ones, and are more comfortable. She highly recommends. We have always been very pleased with Bloch dance shoes. Read more

We ordered a size up given the review feedback. At least in the women’s sizes, we definitely should have ordered her regular size. Thankfully, I was able to take up the elastic (by sewing it down) so it wouldn’t slip off her foot. She needed them for dance tryouts, but now wears them all the time to practice in at home. She loves them! Read more
