I tried two different sizes and I can’t figure these out. The recommended sizing chart from the first pair was way off. The second pair was closer. i wear a 9/40 street shoe and bought a 9 (which was way tight). Other reviews/fit guides recommend going up 1/2 size, but the fit just wasn’t what I was going for so I’m not going to try a third time. I don’t know if they will stretch or what they are supposed to feel like as I am looking for more of a universal/casual dance shoe for blues, swing, fusion, and ecstatic. Since I don’t even know when I’m going to be able to dance again regularly (thanks, covid), I will wait until I can try these on in person. Seller and return policy were great, though. Read more

A Women’s size 5 fit my seven year old daughter, who wears a child’s size 2.5 shoe. She has longer toes, and they fill out the toe end of this shoe perfectly and snug, with no extra fabric leftover in the toes. If I had gone by the common street shoe rule (which is to buy a woman’s shoe 2 sizes larger than her shoe size in kids, aka for her what would have been a size 4.5 Womans) then this particular shoe would have been too small and too tight on her toes. So this shoe seems to run at least a half size small, because her shoe size in this shoe is 2.5 sizes larger than her child shoe size. That could be due to the tight pull on nature of the style, however. I could probably order a size 5.5 for her so she has room to grow, but I’m hoping these stretch out a bit from use and going a size up won’t be needed. If you are buying for a child, buy a size 2-2.5 sizes larger than your child’s kid size shoe and be prepared to possibly exchange for a larger size. Read more

I really enjoy wearing these dancing shoes! Such a relief on my sore, tired feet from the flats I was dancing in. I go Contra dancing (like square dancing but folk dancing in lines as opposed to squares) once or twice a week, two to fours hours at a time. I read lots of reviews before picking this very brand and style of shoe, so I will give you ‘dance shoe’ two-cents worth. This really is a great dance shoe, if you can call it that, because the shoe really fits as a tight sock. I recommend buying half-size smaller than your feet as they do stretch. I like the beige color as opposed to the black as you can wear it with anything. You can barely see them on your feet, if you are Caucasian, like me. Highly recommended. Read more

Bought these for my 10yr. old granddaughter and she absolutely loves them! She wears a 2 1/2 bloch ballet slipper. Sizing was perfect. She needed jazz shoes for her leaps and turns class. Great shoe.. Even her dance instructor was impressed by this shoe. Really accentuates a beautiful pointe too. My granddaughter loves the comfort saying that they feel like she is walking on a pillow top bed. Read more

My daughter said they needed tan jazz shoes so i bought these. This fit as expected and my daughter says they are very comfortable. Her jazz teacher however wanted leather. Just check requirements first. They look great, and she wore them for an hour and a half with no redness or sore feet first day. Read more

These were great for the show I was in. I like the stretch of them and the look and feel like a sock practically. However, they were super narrow and really squeeze my feet. It’s ok for dancing, but the first few weeks my toenails hurt so badly after just a few hours. By the end of the eight week run, the toes and edges of the shoe were fraying and starting to make holes. Read more

This said a women’s size 4, what I recurved would fit a toddler size 4. A women’s size 4 would be in the 8 inch range, this shoe is less than 7 inches. Had to return and buy a different brand to get them in on time. Read more
